Thanksgiving 2007

Johnny Brenden sponsored a Thanksgiving food drive with Las Vegas radio stations KOMP 92.3 & The Point 97.1 raising food for the HELP of Southern Nevada charity organization. Over 1,000 families were provided Thanksgiving dinners due to the generous donation of Johnny Brenden.

Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer

Johnny Brenden sponsored a Thanksgiving Dinner at Garduno’s at the Palms. Guests were treated to a traditional holiday dinner with all the trimmings. Guests included families of the Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer and families from at-risk Burk High School

“Racing Stripes” Premire

Johnny Brenden sponsored hundreds of children from Candlelighters, Shade Tree and other organizations to the Las Vegas Premiere of Warner Brothers “Racing Stripes.” Film star Hayden Panettiere and her brother Jansen (who plays the voice of young Stripes) were on hand with film producer Broderick Johnson. The special screening was followed by a reception in the theatre lobby hosted by Cold Stone Creamery. Children were treated to gift bags, ice cream, photos and autographs with the stars, face painting and other fun activities.

Johnny Brenden along with Michael and Jenna Morton of the N9NE Group hosted the Art in the Shade Every Child is a Artist & Art Reception at the Ghost Bar at the Palms on Tuesday, December 6th 2005. The event helped raise awareness of The Shade Tree\\\’s Shelter for Homeless Woman and Children art program and generated over $15,000 to provide art supplies for the children.
