WHAT: Renown Graphic Artist and founder of the Cartoonists Across America Phil Yeh will present a graphic novel workshop and create a mural painting with the members of the Andre Agassi Boys & Girls Club.

DETAILS: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas Fine Art Program will present a graphic novel workshop and parents’ night for the Andre Agassi Boys & Girls Club. Graphic Artist Phil Yeh will work with club members the following day and create a one-of-a-kind mural that will be painted on a clubhouse wall.
Yeh is known as the Godfather of the American Graphic Novel and has traveled the world promoting reading and literacy through art. His slogan is “Building a World of Readers, Artists and Dreamers.” His core campaign has been focused on giving kids of all ages (1 to 100) the idea that if they engage in some form of creativity – we will naturally become a more thoughtful and literate world.
Phil says: “To really become serious about dealing with the endless social problems that continue to grow on this planet – we need to seriously fund and support all the arts from the visual to the performing.”
